About Point Lonsdale Basketball

Point Lonsdale Basketball was established in the school yard in 2022. Watching basketball grow in popularity, with multiple amature teams popping up all over the village, we decided to get together and pool resources. By bringing all our teams together under one club, we benefit from fundraising support for uniform, equipment and coaching training, as well as fun social and training events.

We are a local volunteer organisation that exists to:

  • Provide inclusive opportunity for community participation in basketball.
  • Encourage community engagement and connection through basketball.
  • Promote physical and mental health and wellbeing in the community.

Point Lonsdale Basketball aims to create and maintain an inclusive, child-safe environment that is understood, endorsed, implemented, and adhered to by everyone involved in our club.
